Summary: After all that has happened tonight, Silver never said thank you.

She was worried. Kelly knew that Sammy thought she was a great mom, but her own mother was right.

Taking care of a teenager would be difficult.

Right now, she wasn't quite sure if she could do it.

"There you are," she said, exasperated as she sat down. Shaking her head, she chuckled as she absorbed what was happening.

Sammy sat on the table of kitchen, his lips smudged with melted chocolate. Silver sat on a chair, her eyebrows raised playfully as she shrugged at her sister innocently. She held a tub of Ben and Jerry's ice-cream in one hand and an ice-cream scooper in the other.

She watched as Kelly slowly cradled Sammy in her embrace.

"Why don't you finish your Mint Chocolate Chunk in the living room and watch TV, sweetie and Mommy will be right with you?"

"Power Rangers!" the young boy squealed, nodding happily and snatching the tub from her aunt's hand before skipping out.

"Hey," Silver said quietly, looking up as she licked her fingers. "I--I never said 'thank you'."

"You're welcome," Kelly replied easily.

Taking a seat, she continued. "If only you told me, Silver."

"You would have done what exactly?"

"I would have helped," she insisted. "If you told me how important hanging out last night would have been to you, I would have been there. Gladly."

Silver nodded with a vague smile, then slowly opened her mouth again to speak. "I know you would have."

"So why didn't you tell me?"

She shrugged. "Sometimes, it's not that easy."

"I know," Kelly chuckled. "If anything, I know how difficult Mom can be, so we have to stick together. Alright?"

Silver paused, her lips curled into a smile. Looking thoughtful, she mused softly, "Alright."

Kelly carefully wrapped the teenager into a warm hug.

"How do you do that?" Silver sighed as she embraced her sister.

"Do what?"

"That," she repeated, blushing. "Making me feel at home."

"And you said I was cheesy," Kelly pointed out teasingly.

"Hey," Silver held her hand up in mock-surrender. "I learned it from you."

Kelly smirked as she pulled Erin's wrist. "C'mon, sis. Let's go watch Powerpuff Girls."

"Power Rangers," Silver corrected her, before running into the living room to see Sammy. "Get with it."

Kelly rolled her eyes as she followed suit with a laugh.

Taking care of one child alone was difficult, but now with Silver!

She also knew that she had to try though, because her sister deserved that much.
