They became friends after Adrianna descovered Gia was an AA member too, and Adrianna needing support after having a small amount of alcohol at at party they both attended.
There friendship grew closer as they both battled the overcome there feelings for the ex's; with them sharing there first kiss as Adrianna helped make Gia's ex-girlfriend jealous.
They become constantly with eachother untill Gia finally cracks, reaveling her feelings for Adrianna; causing Adrianna to ignore her untill she finally confronts her askingif they could try forget about Gia's "silly crush".
Adrianna tried to work out that she also has feelings for Gia, causing her to ask her friends and try search for answers in a book. Gia finally tells her theres only one way to be sure and thats by a kiss,leading them to a date, and finally desiding to be together.
