Navid (Michael Steger) wakes up in the hospital but has no memory of who pushed him down the stairs. Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) visits Navid and following her conversation with him, makes a life-changing decision about her addiction to pills. Silver (Jessica Stroup) and Teddy (guest star Trevor Donovan) bond over the loss of both of their mothers and unexpectedly get close.
Liam (Matt Lanter), Dixon (Tristan Wilds) and Ivy (guest star Gillian Zinser) learn that Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) and Jen (guest star Sara Foster) will be attending the horse races and devise a plan to finally reveal the truth to Naomi about her evil sister.
Annie (Shenae Grimes) and Jasper (guest star Zach Sherman) sneak out even though Harry (Rob Estes) and Debbie (Lori Loughlin) have grounded her. | Navid is in the hospital with a concussion, a broken arm and no memory of what happened. Several people came to visit him on their way to Jackie Silver’s funeral.
Adrianna has missed about 100 messages from Naomi about Silver’s mom being taken to the hospital, then dying, then Navid’s accident and she dumps out her pills. She runs over to the hospital to apologize to Navid and tells him she will never do drugs again, but he tells her to leave.
Ivy overhears Mr. Matthews and Jen talking about their plans to go see Jen’s horse race this weekend, and she tells Liam so they can start working on their plan. Later, Ivy feels insecure and wants to make sure Liam is doing this for revenge and not because he likes Naomi still. He assures her that he doesn’t, and they kiss…right when Teddy walks in. They tell him they want to keep their relationship on the down low.
Naomi is trying to comfort Silver about her mom’s passing. They can’t believe that Ades didn’t show up. Teddy sends Silver flowers to apologize for not being at the funeral, but it’s strange because Naomi saw him earlier at the hospital all dressed up. So Silver goes to see Teddy and he is hitting tennis balls off the roof, just like he showed her to do when she was stressed out. They talk for a while which leads to a kiss.
Jasper is clearly worried about getting found out. He tries to get info from Annie about what Navid remembers but she is not of very much help. Later, he goes up to Adrianna on the pretense of offering to sell her some more drugs, but really he just wants to know how much Navid remembers. When she tells him he doesn’t remember much, he disappears.
Annie is grounded for kissing Jasper at school. But she tells her parents she is going to chemistry study group and ends up just hanging out with Jasper. Later Debbie finds Annie’s chemistry book in the house.
Silver and Naomi try on Jackie’s clothes and laugh and grieve at the same time. Adrianna stops by and wants to apologize but they tell her she is not a good friend and that she should leave. She goes home and flushes her drugs down the toilet.
At the races, Ivy, Dixon and Teddy get the box next to Silver and Naomi. When the guys are talking to Liam about his getting the recording back from deleted oblivion with the help of a random “tech guy”, Jen happens to overhear…which is all part of the plan. In the mean time, Naomi is getting expensive gifts delivered to her from a secret admirer. Jen and Naomi’s horse wins the race. Naomi eventually is asked by her secret suitor to wait in a private suite for him.
Meanwhile Jen has stolen Liam’s phone and is mocking him for trying to get revenge on her. Dixon sends the signal to Liam, and he gets a confession out of Jen right in front of Naomi’s room, so that she can overhear perfectly. She asks Jen to leave and then starts bawling. The guys are all giving high fives but Liam feels bad about Naomi. Naomi goes to talk to Liam but Ivy sees her coming and makes out with him.
Silver and Dixon make up and decide to be friends again. Teddy sees them hugging and is clearly hurt.
Adrianna goes back to see Navid at the hospital and she tells him she just came back from a meeting and has realized something about herself. She doesn’t like it when things are going well because she doesn’t think she deserves it and her sobriety is going to be about much more than just not using drugs. She says she’d like to be his friend one day. He seems ok with that.
Dixon saves Annie from getting in trouble by saying the chemistry book was his. He felt like he owed her one after not believing her when she said she didn’t have sex with Liam. They finally make up. Naomi leaves Annie a voicemail apologizing.
