| | With the help of Teddy (guest star Trevor Donovan), Jackie (guest star Ann Gillespie) surprises Silver (Jessica Stroup) with a half-birthday celebration that takes her back to her childhood birthday parties. Navid (Michael Steger) witnesses Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) buying drugs from Jasper (guest star Zach Sherman), forcing Navid to confront him about being a drug dealer. Dixon (Tristan Wilds) is determined to confront Sasha (Mekia Cox, who does not appear in the episode) about her miscarriage, forcing Debbie (Lori Loughlin) and Harry (Rob Estes) to reveal that Sasha lied about being pregnant. Annie (Shenae Grimes) and Jasper profess their love for each other and decide to take their relationship to the next level. After getting into a fight on the beach, Liam (Matt Lanter), with the help of Dixon (Tristan Wilds), Teddy and Ivy (Gillian Zinser), devises a plan seek revenge on Jen (Sara Foster, who does not appear in the episode). Ryan Eggold also stars. | Harry tries to get Dixon back on the surf team, but he is not interested in rejoining. He feels guilty about Sasha losing the baby and him not supporting her enough. He imagines that she must just be devastated. Harry wants to tell him the truth, but Debbie maintains that it will be better if he never finds out.
Silver is in full caretaker mode with her mom, organizing the nurses, hospital visits, medication, etc. etc. Flashes of their old relationship reemerge as Silver realizes there is a lot about her that Jackie doesn’t know because she was in a drug haze for most of her childhood.
At school, Silver tells Naomi that she doesn’t plan to have a half birthday party this year, because she has too much going on with her mom. Then Ades comes by, acting a little too relaxed, but tells the girls she feels better. Naomi gives Ades $150 to go buy a gift certificate for Silver from both of them because Ades mentioned she is short on cash these days.
Liam tries to tell Ryan the truth about Jen, but of course he won’t listen. That really pisses Liam off, and when Ivy comes up and tries to ask him what’s wrong, he snaps at her, telling her she is not his girlfriend.
Naomi continues to try to get Silver to have a half birthday party. Silver explains to Teddy that when she was little for her B-day her mom got trashed and she had to cancel it, so she gave up on birthdays. Half birthdays are different since no one has any expectations for them. Adrianna catches Silver’s eye as she is walking with Teddy.
Navid is still working on the drugs in school story for the Blaze. Jasper goes up to him and denies being a dealer. Jasper then tells his gf Annie that he got her an audition for a part in a movie that his dad is producing. She is thrilled.
Ivy kinda freaks out on the guys for not knowing (or really caring) what was up with Liam that put him in such a bad mood.
Silver basically asks Ades permission to be friends with Teddy, and Ades tells her to go for it. Then Ades gets up and goes to the bathroom, and pops a few pills.
Later, Teddy offers to babysit Silver’s mom when she has an emergency, and they get along swimmingly.
Navid watches Jasper get into Adrianna’s car, and get out counting his cash. And clearly he puts the pieces together that it is a drug deal. Adrianna uses the money Naomi gave her for Silver’s half b-day gift to pay for the drugs.
Navid calls Adrianna to confront her about buying the drugs, but she denies it and hangs up on him. Later Navid confronts Jasper, and he denies it while simultaneously threatening him.
Dixon wants to go over to Sasha’s and the only way his parent’s can stop him is by telling him the truth about her fake miscarriage. Dixon is shocked, and angry that they kept this info from him.
At surf practice, Liam is still in a terrible mood. And later he gets in a fight with some of the other surfers. When his friends confront him about what’s been going on, he tells them about Jen. Dixon realizes it wasn’t Annie that he slept with at the after-prom party. And the gang decides they will help Liam get revenge on Jen.
Silver comes home to find that her mom has created birthday parties for all of the birthdays she has missed over the years. There is a room from when she was 7 and wanted to be an astronaut, one from when she was 12 and loved the 80s, one from her camping phase. Silver is very touched, and Jackie says Teddy was a huge help. Silver says that what Jackie did tonight makes up for all the bad, since now she will have something good to remember her with.
Annie doesn’t get the part but Jasper consoles her. She tells him that she loves him and she wants her first time to be with him, and then they make that happen.
Liam and Ivy make up.
Dixon goes to apologize to Annie for not believing her when she said she didn’t sleep with Liam, but she ends up teasing him about Sasha and they end up fighting.
A teary Adrianna goes up to Naomi and makes up a story about how she got mugged and how they stole the money for Silver’s birthday. Of course Naomi is sympathetic.
Silver wakes up in her tent with her mom on her real half-birthday, and when she tries to get her out of bed, Jackie is unresponsive. Silver calls an ambulance.
Navid and Gia are doing their research to try to find a way to take down Jasper.
