| Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) learns that her test scores may not be high enough for her to be accepted into CU. Devastated, Naomi devises a plan to be tutored by Richard (guest star Jonathon Trent, "CSI: NY"), the son of the school's dean of admissions, but quickly realizes she would much rather be studying Jamie (guest star Travis Van Winkle, "Meet the Spartans"), a CU student. Dixon's (Tristan Wilds) girlfriend, Sasha (guest star Mekia Cox, "Bones"), becomes suspicious about his age and does a little detective work to learn the truth, leaving Dixon devastated. Navid (Michael Steger) and Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) double date with Teddy (Trevor Donovan), but Adrianna's growing feelings towards Teddy make for an awkward situation. Silver (Jessica Stroup) accompanies Adrianna to an AA meeting and surprisingly bumps into her mom, Jackie (guest star Gillespie), who tells Silver she would like to re-establish their relationship. An angry Silver rejects her mother, but her world is turned upside down when Adrianna reveals shocking news about Jackie. Rob Estes, Lori Loughlin, Shenae Grimes and Ryan Eggold also star. Navid comes into school on cloud nine and within a few seconds, the boys know that he is no longer a virgin. Teddy tells Navid he wants to go on a double date with them, and Navid thinks it’s a great idea. Adrianna is not very interested, but agrees to go anyway.
Sasha happens to catch Dixon’s mom at the spa and starts talking to her to find out more about her relationship with Dixon…and she gets what she was looking for: confirmation that Dixon is in high school . When he comes by her house later that night, she tells him to stay away from her. Later, he makes another heartfelt attempt to get her back, but she tells him to get lost.
Naomi finds out that her test scores and grades are not enough to get in to CU, the school she’s been dreaming of and becomes totally depressed until her friends convince her that she should not give up trying to get in. She thinks of a plan to get tutored by and then inevitably start dating the Dean of Admissions’ son, Richard.
Jasper is still using excuses about his uncle to get Annie to go out with him. They go out to dinner, and then to see a band (from the rooftop, so Annie won’t have to run into anyone she hates at the show) and it seems like Annie is actually starting to fall for him.
Navid and Silver go with Adrianna to her AA meeting to support her and Silver runs out of the place when she sees that her mom, Jackie, is there. Later, Ades tells Silver that her mom has changed, but Silver doesn’t buy it. Then she tells Adrianna that she saw her kiss Teddy, and they get in an argument.
During the double date, Teddy tried to make Adrianna jealous by cuddling and making out with his new date. Ades gets Teddy alone and calls him out on it, and he admits it. Then they kiss again.
Liam gets in trouble in Ryan’s class and Ryan ends up calling his parents. But when they get there, Ryan tells them how great Liam is doing.
Jackie leaves a note for Silver asking her to come to her AA meeting as she will be speaking that night. Silver isn’t sure what do to, but in the end she shows up. Jackie gives a heartfelt speech about how she is so sorry she was a bad mother and how she is so thankful that Silver is giving her another chance. But then Silver gets up to make her own speech and tells her mother to stay away from her—they’re relationship is over.
On her way to meet up with her tutor/date, Naomi runs in to a hot football playing, frat boy from CU, that she instantly has a crush on. Turns out that he is roommates with her tutor.
Dixon and Liam go to see a concert at the beach club, and they run into Sasha there. Sasha eventually comes over to talk to Dixon. They end up making out.
Liam is about to play the recording of Jen admitting that they slept together for Naomi, but he sees her making out with her tutor, and he deletes the recording instead.
Adrianna tells Silver that her mother, Jackie, is dying of cancer. |
